Welcome to our little piece of the web. Rugby is a passion and one that we all hold in high regard at BCRFC. It has something for everyone, and is a sport born out of greatness. It is a sport that transcends nations and brings groups together.
Bruce County Rugby Football Club was established in 2008, and it wasn't long after it was established that championships were won in the Niagara Rugby Union which BCRFC competes in. We first started as a men's program. That has since expanded into women's, master's and minor (U7 -U13 programs). Although rugby has a competitive side, the main goal of our club is to have fun and bring people together. We are involved in a number of community events ranging from the "Walk a Mile", "Barbs Behind the Bar", and "Port Elgin Pumpkinfest".
BCRFC calls Tiverton home, but our membership is far reaching with members from Ireland, England, Wales, Italy as well as Canada.
Last year was our 10th anniversary and this year may prove to be our best year yet as we embark on our second decade in existence.
Barbarians, Banshees, Masters and the Wave are all accepting members for the 2019 season.
The future is bright on the Lake Huron coastline.
We also offer rugby in Hanover.
Bruce County Rugby is.....
A not for profit organization established in 2008 with an emphasis on having fun, fitness, and a social environment with a little healthy completion thrown in for good measure.
We have groups ranging from minor (just starting out) to senior Masters rugby programs. For more information please keep reading or reach out to one of our contacts.
